Capitol City Pediatric Asthma Clinic
About
Capitol City Pediatric Asthma Clinic is located in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This clinic is built in the former Union Federal and Savings Loan Association, designed and built by A. Hays Town in 1956. CCPAC is administered by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, and focuses on the overall health and wellbeing of young patients. The clinic specializes in the nutritional impact of asthma in children ages 0-18 and informs patients on how diet and nutrition can either help or hurt children with asthma. This is accomplished through an in-house café with nutrient-rich foods and beverages containing vitamins asthma patients tend to lack. The café also serves to educate parents on how they can help their child cope with asthma. The interior design of CCPAC features a large open waiting area and a café connecting to a beautiful outdoor courtyard. This connection to nature helps patients feel a sense of happiness as they enter the clinic.
